Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Browsing Seoulook requires no account. We do not collect names, emails, or payment details from visitors. The one exception is if you choose to apply for a brand audit — see section 3. From visitors we process:
- Photos you upload on the style finder — used only to compute visual matches for that request. Uploads are processed on our matching server and are not published or shared.
- Anonymous interactions — likes on looks and clicks on product links, stored without personal identifiers, to rank looks and attribute affiliate referrals.
- Local storage — your browser remembers which looks you liked so you can't like twice. This never leaves your device.
2. Affiliate links & third parties
Product links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer's affiliate network (e.g., Awin) may set cookies on the retailer's site to attribute your purchase. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's and network's own privacy policies. We receive aggregate commission reports — never your identity or payment details.
3. Brand audit applications
If you apply for our free K-fashion Global Discovery Audit, we collect the business details you enter on that form: brand name, website, your name, role, work email, priority market, and the question you want answered. We use them only to assess fit, produce your audit, and reply to you about it. We keep them for three months after we send the audit, then delete them.
Beyond the audit itself, we ask for two separate, optional consents: a one-time email with our paid pilot proposal, or ongoing updates about Seoulook. Neither is required to receive your audit, and we don't combine them — agreeing to one doesn't mean you agreed to the other. If you didn't tick either box, we send your audit and nothing else. You can ask us to delete your application at any time by replying to us or emailing the address below.
4. Pinterest integration
We use the Pinterest API to publish our own outfit boards to our own Pinterest account. This integration is publish-only: we create Pins containing product imagery supplied by our retail partners for affiliate promotion, together with a link back to the matching page on this site. The only data we read from Pinterest is the list of boards on our own account, which we need in order to know where to post. We do not read, request, store, or process any other person's Pinterest profile, boards, Pins, or activity, and we never ask visitors to connect a Pinterest account. Anything you do on Pinterest itself is governed by Pinterest's own privacy policy.
5. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are popular. We do not build individual visitor profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
6. Your choices
You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove liked-look history. If you have uploaded a photo and want to confirm its removal, or have any privacy question, contact us and we'll respond within a few days.
